6 things to watch in this Xmas Season is a must read for everyone. Not long ago, we all embraced the New Year with much enthusiasm and hoped for the best in the year 2015. Many people have labored, toiled and worked under terrible and strenuous conditions just to make a living. Inasmuch as you want to save money and or spend this Xmas season in a different way, you should be mindful of these 10 things to watch in this Xmas Season.
1. High Prices:
Rationally,we expect the prices of goods and services to be cheaper when there are alternatives and many similar products available on the market but this is not the case during Xmas Seasons. Rather, the arrival of new goods and services come with high prices. This may be due to the increasing new exchange rates and the high demand for dollars for import and exports.
Ideally, the best time to purchase and shop around for your items should be at least three months before the Xmas Season when the new goods for the season have not yet arrived.
2. Heavy Traffic in Town
As usual, you should expect heavy vehicular traffic jam in town especially in the principal business streets in town, market squares and other public places. It will be advisable to leave the house earlier and snappily finish your transaction on time and leave before the traffic thickens both in the morning and in the evening.
3. Robbery and Theft Cases
Out of the 10 things to watch in this Xmas Season, the worst disheartening of all is robbery and theft cases. It is rather disturbing for one to be robbed off the little s/he has acquired for the season and will be robbed. During Xmas time, do not forget to lock all doors properly when going out and going to bed. Any time you identify any problem in your house or lock systems, you should tackle it with immediate effect. Avoid talking on phone in public places about how lucky you are or some amounts of money given you. A bad guy could chance on you and eavesdrop your conversation leading to probable robbery and theft cases.
4. Over Spending
The much anticipated event has finally come as the Xmas bells are being tolled to welcome the Xmas Season. Man, spend within your income and budget. Overspending leads to totally emptying your account and pocket and welcoming the New Year with really poverty, hence January is normally seen as the longest and toughest month.
Learn to cut off some unnecessary expenses. Save for the next year and your future projects. You must not begin the New Year with borrowing.
5. Excessive Noise Making Time
In Africa, you should expect a lot of noise making from commercial drivers who toot their horns even at times for no reason. And this becomes worse during Xmas season. Expect a lot more noise from family gatherings, individuals, neighbours, parties and of course Xmas Conventions from churches.

Party, club, beach and holiday lovers, do not let the occasion lead you to do things which will claim your lives. Remember, there is more to life than doing all the craziest things just to ‘enjoy’ yourself and end up losing your soul. Act and drink responsibly.

Life is full of mysteries. History is replete with so many unexpected events during Xmas seasons. These could be good or bad news. Whatever be the case, learn to manage the situation. Make provisions and be proactive in order not to aggravate the unexpected when it happens.
